Why Vetted exists

Veterinary prices are hard to compare. Clinics use different names for similar services, some fees are bundled, and pet owners often don't know what others paid until the bill is already in hand.

Vetted is building the first public database of real NYC veterinary prices, tied to who owns each clinic — the kind of information hospitals have had to disclose for years, and veterinary care hasn't.

How your data is used

Vetted never sells your personal information. When you submit a bill, personal details — your name, address, contact information and your pet's name — are removed before any price is added to the public database. What's published is the price itself, tied to the clinic and service, never to you.
